Jack Ryan – with Chris Pine (Captain Kirk) – Keira Knightley (very sexy) – Kevin Kostner and Kenneth Branagh – gets four stars from Larry and Marty!

Recently we have seen Lone Survivor, The Wolf of Wall Street and American Hustle and frankly they just about wore us out emotionally.

Marty and I were looking for a fast paced, action adventure, entertaining movie with no emotional attachment. BINGO! Jack Ryan fits the bill. Other than the occasional strangling, drowning, shooting and explosion this movie could have been G. There was no cursing and no sex – can you believe it?

You can read all the details on your favorite website but all I’m going to tell you is the plot was good – it moved along so fast I couldn’t believe it was over so quickly – the actors won’t win any awards but like Uncle Larry at a Dinner-Dance they were very entertaining.

Here’s all you need to know about the plot: The Good Guys were really Good – the Bad Guys were Russians – the Good Guys all lived and the Bad Guys all Died. What more do you need to know?

If you like the Jason Bourne movies you will like Jack Ryan – we did and give it an A.
