Egypt’s new President Mohamed Morsi was sworn in yesterday and among his list of priorities are to free the blind Egyptian Cleric Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, serving a life sentence in the United States for a conspiracy conviction related to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

In case all the Muslim names confuse you, as they do me, this is the Sheikh who was convicted for being the spiritual leader and mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. His trial took forever and he was fairly tried, convicted and given a life sentence for the first terrorist bombing on American soil. President Morsi – a member of the “Muslim Brotherhood” said: “Their rights will be on my shoulders and I won’t spare any effort to free them.”

Gee, I wonder will President Obama: Free the terrorist Sheikh at all – wait until after the elections and if he loses give him a Presidential Pardon or if he wins (forgive me for saying that) wait until the dust dies down and free him in his second glorious reign as King Obama?
